GET INVOLVED

We are currently in need of more Committee members but there are lots of things to do and you don’t have to be on the committee! The Society always needs volunteers to help in a variety of roles in addition to the one listed below. There are behind-the-scenes activities where help would be appreciated. Look at the menu at the side for ideas, or contact us at alhs@live.co.uk and let us know where your particular interests and skills lie.

Visits

The Visits Team are looking for new members. Contact us for more information on this interesting opportunity.

Publications

We need someone to be responsible for our books, to help increase awareness of our presence within the community and to benefit our income.

You will be in charge of sales of our books at lectures and of delivering our books to various local outlets and also selling via email. This will involve contacting regular and possible new outlets, producing invoices, posting parcels and delivering cheques/cash to our Treasurer, if direct payment isn’t used.

If you can take on this interesting job, please contact us by email or talk to a Committee member.
