Abergavenny Local History Society can sometimes help with enquiries about local history. We can ask our Research Group and other members in our monthly email as some members have particular interests like maps or houses of a particular period. We are not a Family History Society and can usually only offer limited help in this area (see below for other organisations).

Abergavenny Chronicle has an archive collection of newspapers, most of which are available on microfiche in the Library. WW1 editions have been digitised by the National Museum of Wales.
